How does the booking process work?

You search for dates and location, compare offers from local suppliers, then complete a reservation online. An advance payment by card secures the booking. Within hours you receive a voucher by email with the supplier's contact details, pick-up address, and the terms that apply. The remaining balance and any local requirements are handled when you collect the keys, as stated in that voucher.

What information will I find in the voucher?

The voucher includes the supplier's name, office address, contact telephone, your reservation reference, vehicle group, pick-up and drop-off times, insurance coverage details, fuel policy, mileage allowance, and any additional driver or cross-border rules. You present this document at the counter along with your driving licence and passport.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?

Amendments and cancellations follow the policy printed on your voucher; many suppliers allow free changes up to forty-eight hours before collection. Contact us by email at [email protected] or call +66 76 512 384 during office hours to request a modification. Processing times vary depending on the supplier's own schedule.

What documents do I need at pick-up?

Bring your passport, a full driving licence valid for at least one year, and an International Driving Permit if your national licence is not printed in English or uses a non-Latin script. The printed or mobile voucher completes the set. Some suppliers ask for a utility bill or return flight confirmation to verify your travel dates.

Are there age or experience restrictions?

Most suppliers require the main driver to be at least twenty-one years old and to have held a licence for a minimum of one year. Certain vehicle categories - larger SUVs or premium models - may set the threshold at twenty-five. Additional drivers must meet the same criteria and be listed on the rental agreement at the counter.

How does the fuel policy work?

The standard arrangement is full-to-full: you collect the vehicle with a full tank and return it full. Petrol stations such as PTT, Shell and Bangchak operate across the country. Keep the final fuel receipt in case the supplier checks the timestamp. Some operators offer a pre-purchase option, allowing you to return the vehicle empty, but terms vary by location.

Can I drive across regional borders or take ferries?

Domestic ferry crossings - for example to Koh Samui or between Phuket and Krabi via the Sarasin bridge route - are usually permitted. Cross-border travel into Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia or Myanmar typically requires written permission from the supplier and may incur an extra fee; some rental agreements prohibit it entirely. Always check the clause in your voucher before planning a route beyond Thailand.

What if I have a problem during the rental period?

Contact the supplier directly using the telephone number on your voucher; they manage roadside assistance and any technical issues. If you cannot reach them or need help interpreting the agreement, email us at [email protected] or call +66 76 512 384 between eight in the morning and seven in the evening, GMT+7, Monday through Sunday. We can liaise with the local office on your behalf.

Is mileage included in my booking?

Most offers include unlimited kilometres, letting you explore from the beaches of Khao Lak to the streets of Bangkok without a distance cap. A few suppliers set a daily limit - commonly two hundred or three hundred kilometres - with a per-kilometre charge beyond that figure. The mileage policy appears clearly in the search results and again on your voucher, so there are no surprises at drop-off.
